OKOTA Spring Continuing Education Event - WELCOME Teal Benevides, PhD, MS, OTR/L
"Supporting Autistic Adults in Achieving Occupational Performance"

Oklahoma welcomes guest speaker Teal Benevides, an associate professor at Augusta University, Georgia. She has been actively contributing to evidence-based practice with multiple research projects, published articles in peer-reviewed journals, and guest lectureships about occupational therapy interventions. Teal Benevides, PhD, MS, OTR/L has a passion for describing, understanding, and addressing disparities among individuals with autism, including racial and ethnic minorities, and adults with autism. 
Oklahoma University Department of Rehabilitation Sciences hosts the annual Sharon Sanderson Lecture series, March 29 (Friday) 3:30-5pm at OUHSC OKC campus & remotely to Tulsa OUHSC campus, free! Then, Saturday morning, she will also provide a continuing education presentation for OKOTA (both OKC & Tulsa campus registration available!)
